During the July 15 Y Walk Wednesday, What’s New Downtown, join Larry Newman, the executive director of the Diamond City Partnership, Downtown Wilkes-Barre’s development organization, to learn about new developments and see how Downtown Wilkes-Barre is evolving to meet today’s challenges and opportunities.

Y Walk Wednesdays are free evening walks featuring downtown history, walking and health, architecture, natural areas and new development in Wilkes-Barre. Walks begin promptly at 6:00 pm leaving the Wilkes-Barre Family YMCA lobby, 40 West Northampton St. Walks are approximately 90 minutes long and led by volunteer leaders. Registration not required.
