City of Wilkes-Barre SPARK Grant Program:
The SPARK Grant Program facilitates the growth of new companies and relocation of existing businesses to the City of Wilkes-Barre. Funds from this program, administered by the Greater Wyoming Valley Chamber, can be used to fund Year One occupancy expenses at an approved city location.

DCP Facade/Storefront Grant Program:
The DCP Façade/Storefront Grant Program provides matching grants up to $2,500 for specific improvements to commercial building facades and storefronts within the Downtown Wilkes-Barre Business Improvement District.

Enterprise Zone Tax Credit Program:
The Enterprise Zone Tax Credit program provides a state tax credit equal to 25% of the amount invested in a qualified project within Downtown Wilkes-Barre’s Main Street Program footprint. Eligible project costs include construction, architecture/engineering, and acquisition. Awards are capped at $500,000 in state tax credits per project.

Keystone Innovation Zone Program:
The Keystone Innovation Zone program facilitates the growth of young technology companies by providing state tax credits of up to $100,000 per year to qualified firms located in Downtown Wilkes-Barre. Applicants can sell awarded tax credits to raise equity.
