During the July 1 Y Walk Wednesday, iNaturalist Walk-Kirby Park Natural Area, stretch your legs on a walk to the Kirby Park Natural Area and learn how to use iNaturalist, a free community science app, to identify plants and insects. Help downloading iNaturalist available. Walk Leader: Abigail McDonald, Greater Wyoming Valley Area YMCA Senior Tech Help Specialist.

Y Walk Wednesdays are free evening walks featuring downtown history, walking and health, architecture, natural areas and new development in Wilkes-Barre. Walks begin promptly at 6:00 pm leaving the Wilkes-Barre Family YMCA lobby, 40 West Northampton St. Walks are approximately 90 minutes long and led by volunteer leaders. Registration not required.
