During the August 12 Y Walk Wednesday, Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor in the Wyoming Valley, learn about the 165-mile D&L Trail, the history of the Corridor that connects Wilkes-Barre with Bristol, new developments to the D&L Trail in Luzerne County, and the trail’s eventual terminus in Wilkes-Barre. Walk Leader: Alice Wanamaker, Delaware and Lehigh National Heritage Corridor.

Y Walk Wednesdays are free evening walks featuring downtown history, walking and health, architecture, natural areas and new development in Wilkes-Barre. Walks begin promptly at 6:00 pm leaving the Wilkes-Barre Family YMCA lobby, 40 West Northampton St. Walks are approximately 90 minutes long and led by volunteer leaders. Registration not required.
