100 Years of Ethnic Change in the Wyoming Valley is the topic of the July 29 Y Walk Wednesday. Join Michael Polgar, Professor at Penn State Hazleton, on a walk to the new Jewish Community Center in Kingston. He will discuss demographic and ethnic patterns in Wyoming Valley communities over the past century.

Y Walk Wednesdays are free evening walks featuring downtown history, walking and health, architecture, natural areas and new development in Wilkes-Barre. Walks begin promptly at 6:00 pm leaving the Wilkes-Barre Family YMCA lobby, 40 West Northampton St. Walks are approximately 90 minutes long and led by volunteer leaders. Registration not required.
