The Maslow Family Graduate Program in Creative Writing's Winter Reading Series at Wilkes University, held in conjunction with the creative writing program’s January residency, features program faculty, alumni and guest writers spanning the genres of fiction, creative nonfiction, screenplays, stage plays and poetry. All events are free and open to the public.

The January 10 program features a staged reading of Once Upon a Monster by faculty member Christine Renee Miller, directed by faculty member Gregory Fletcher.
