The City of Wilkes-Barre’s Old Fashioned Fourth of July is planned for Saturday, July 4th from 12 PM to 10 PM in Kirby Park on Market Street. Opening Ceremonies will begin at 12:30 PM with a welcome from Wilkes-Barre Mayor George C. Brown. The event will have 40 food and craft vendors.

Live entertainment includes:
1:00 PM: Eddie Day & TNT
4:00 PM: Idol Kings
7:30 PM: Full Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic

Fireworks will begin between approximately 9:00 and 9:30 PM and are presented by Skyshooter Displays.
