Guest artist Poet Sean Webb will give a reading of his poetry and a talk highlighting the exhibit " A marriage of Poetry and Painting " which combines his poetry and the paintings and sculptures of his late life partner Colleen Quinn. Colleen was a vibrant member of the Circle Center and the WVAL. She put her heart, energy and soul into facilitating our life drawing sessions and was always a positive force when she was engaging with anyone at the Circle Centre. The exhibit celebrates her life and passion for painting and sculpting and touches on many themes from the familial to the political and beyond. Sean's Poetry is deeply moving and compassionate touching on his his love for Colleen and looking at the daily lives of people, shadows and even ants.
