Ruth’s Place is excited to announce their 15th annual Walk for Hope, the annual fundraising event to support Ruth’s Place. This year’s Walk for Hope is to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Ruth’s Place Women’s Shelter! This year, the festivities will take place on Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Public Square. Join them for fun, food, music, raffles, and a walk through Downtown Wilkes-Barre to support women experiencing homelessness in your backyard. By supporting the Ruth’s Place Walk for Hope, you can help feed, clothe, protect and empower women in our community during their time of greatest need.
