Ruth’s Place is excited to announce our 18th annual Walk for Hope is happening Saturday, September 19th. Ruth’s Place is the only emergency homeless shelter dedicated to women experiencing homelessness in Luzerne County, providing 24-hour lodging and services 7 days a week. Participants are invited to “walk in the shoes” of individuals experiencing homelessness while raising awareness and support for women working to rebuild their lives. Proceeds help provide safe shelter, meals, clothing and essential resources for the women served by Ruth’s Place.
