Volunteers of America of Pennsylvania (VOAPA) is hosting the 16th Annual Walk for Hope to support Ruth’s Place, Luzerne County’s only 24/7 emergency shelter dedicated to providing shelter and support to women facing homelessness.

This year, the festivities will occur on Saturday, June 1, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Public Square in Downtown Wilkes-Barre. Bring out the whole family for a fun-filled event where you can enjoy:

  • Over 30+ raffle baskets
  • Face painting and a bounce house for the kids
  • An education “walk in her shoes” around Downtown Wilkes-Barre
  • Food, music, resource tables, and so much more!
