Written in their later years, the string quintets by Mozart and Brahms exemplify the pinnacle of both composers’ creative genius, showcasing intricate harmonies and breathtaking melodies that reflect their artistic maturity. In contrast, Britten’s Phantasy Quintet, composed at just 18 for a Royal College of Music scholarship application, already reveals the distinctive skill and style that would define his career. NEPACMS is delighted to present these remarkable works, celebrating a rare and exquisite combination of instruments.

Johannes Brahms: String Quintet No. 2 in G Major, Op. 111
