For the first time in years, Mr. Peanut, the Peanutters, and the legendary PLANTERS® NUTmobile are returning to the city where the Planters story began!

Bring the kids, invite your friends, and experience one of America's most recognizable promotional vehicles up close while celebrating Wilkes-Barre's remarkable connection to the PLANTERS® story. This is a weekend of history, nostalgia, community pride, and memories the whole family will enjoy.

Don't forget your camera—you'll definitely want a picture with Mr. Peanut and the NUTmobile.

For generations, Wilkes-Barre served as the home of Planters' operations and played a vital role in the company's remarkable rise from regional business to one of America's most beloved consumer brands. Planters was founded in Wilkes-Barre in 1906.

"Very few communities can say they helped shape one of the most recognizable brands in American history," said Thom Greco, organizer of the celebration. "This weekend is about celebrating Wilkes-Barre's role in the Planters story while creating new memories for families, visitors, and everyone who grew up knowing Mr. Peanut. This is another step in reclaiming the history of Planters Peanuts and Wilkes-Barre."
