The Fine Arts Fiesta invites art and music lovers everywhere to visit the nonprofit organization’s new headquarters at 60 Public Square and enjoy its opening gallery exhibit, “Faces of Music,” featuring the work of noted music photographer Jim Gavenus, at a meet-the-artist event on Thursday, August 21, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Jim Gavenus is an award-winning, internationally recognized editorial photographer. The exhibit will take viewers on a photographic journey of performances and intimate back-stage moments featuring the entertainers that make us all smile and dance. The collection of photographs, which include photos of the Avett Brothers, John Oates, Bruce Springsteen, Willie Nelson, Neil Young, Bonnie Raitt and many more, are all Jim’s work in the world of music spanning many years and genres.
“Faces in Music” will also be open to the public on the following dates from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM: Saturday, August 23; Friday, August 29; Saturday, August 30; and Saturday, September 6.
