For more than 66 years, the third week in May has belonged to Fine Arts Fiesta!

When Fiesta began many years ago, it consisted of a handful of artists and performers. Their idea was to bring visual and performing arts to the people who might not otherwise get a chance to experience them.

Today, that simple idea has continued to expand and grow to include many professional artists, craftsmen, musicians, dancers and international talent.

The Fiesta includes two juried visual art showcases including all works of media and photography by regional adult and student artists.

Children are entertained with puppet shows, face painting, a strolling mime, music, and a clown as well with make and take opportunities, story telling, and visits with Mother Goose.

Family members of all ages will enjoy an amazing variety of foods to satisfy every appetite.

Many local visual and performing arts organizations and groups are given the opportunity to share their talents and expertise with the community on the main stage throughout the four-day event.

The Fine Arts Fiesta is Pennsylvania's oldest arts festival.  The Board of Directors works throughout the year to organize this major event.

The Fine Arts Fiesta is truly one of the best family events in Northeastern Pennsylvania! Since its humble beginnings, there has never been an admission fee, and all entertainment, children’s activities, artist’s market, and exhibitions are presented free of charge.

See you on Public Square!
