In conjunction with Dr. Seuss and Read Across America Month, the Keystone State Literacy Association Luzerne County is holding a “Reading Day at Boscov’s” in Boscov's fourth-floor Community Room, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 7.
A story time will be held, children’s books will be read, craft projects will be done, and books will be given away to the first 50 children who participate. Also included is “Cosmic Glen’s Magic Show” from 1 to 1:20 p.m. Registration is not required.
The Keystone State Literacy Association Luzerne County is a local chapter of the Keystone State Literacy Association. It is also affiliated with the International Literacy Association. KSLA Luzerne County’s goal is to promote and foster literacy throughout Luzerne County. It is a professional organization with membership open to anyone who is interested in these goals.
