The Christian Education Committee of the First Presbyterian Church of Wilkes-Barre is thrilled to announce its Annual Alternative Christmas Craft Fair, taking place Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the church, located at 97 South Franklin Street.

This year's fair brings a fresh and festive twist, offering families and friends new hands-on activities designed to spark creativity and holiday cheer. Guests can enjoy wreath decorating using real fresh greens, crafting beautiful, fragrant creations perfect for the season. A local vendor will also lead a custom mug-decorating station, where attendees can design a personalized mug—ideal for gift-giving or sipping hot cocoa all winter long.

In addition to these activities, the fair will continue its tradition of featuring hand-made goods from local artisans and fair-trade items from around the world, providing an “alternative” way to shop local, shop small, and discover meaningful gifts. Whether you're crafting, browsing, or simply soaking in the holiday spirit, the fair offers something for everyone.

The event is free and open to the public. All are invited to enjoy a warm, welcoming day of creativity, community, and holiday fun.
